I love reading and writing. I read most genres but my favourites would be paranormal romances and inspirational/motivational books. I have mostly started this blog because I love to read so much and want to share my reviews and thoughts with the world or anyone who wants to read it, giving my little bit of input to the world as well as any topics of light that would help and motivate you. I am also an aspiring author, in between reading books and reviewing them, I am writing two separate books, one fiction and one non-fiction. I have too many books and Ebooks, enough to last me probably 2 lifetimes! You can never have enough books... he he

My Review:
I was quite excited to review this book, as I helped with the Cover Reveal a little while ago. I have not read book 1 yet, but am hoping to very soon. I was given the option to review Book 1 for this tour as well but could just not fit it into my schedule. Now, after reading this Novella, I really need to read this series!
There were times when the references to book 1 were lost on me, but nothing that took away from the story. I filled in the gaps pretty quickly. Kat creates wonderful, lovable and well-rounded characters.
Characters: 4/5
Susanna - I loved her bravery and strength. She is stubborn but not to the extent that it gets on your nerves. I connected with her easily and understood her character which let me love her even more.
Robert - He is a swoon-worthy hero/highlander. You cannot help fall in love with his nobleness, strength and honour.
To every lost soul and dreamer...
